An Assistant Boy Scout Master is accused of sexually assaulting a child in Cape May County.

68-year-old Frank "Sandy" Thomson was arrested Monday for Aggravated Sexual Contact, Luring/Enticing a Child and two counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child.

Prosecutors say Thomson was an Assistant Boy Scout Master in West Cape May and the treasurer of the Corinthian Yacht Club in Cape May.

Investigators allege he abused one boy years ago.

Thomson is being held in the Cape May County Correctional Center in lieu of $175,000 full cash bail
