Prostitution sting targets 3 Mercer Co. locations
LAWRENCE TWP, N.J. (WPVI) -- Police say they've made arrests at three locations targeted in a prostitution sting over the past two weeks.
Investigators say undercover officers were solicited for sex by women working at the establishments.
On July 28th, police executed search warrants at Young Spa on Brunswick Pike in Lawrence Township, ending in two arrests. Ying Lan Lu, age 34, of Flushing, NY, was charged with promoting prostitution, and Meihua Cui, age 31, of Little, NJ, was charged with promoting prostitution and engaging in prostitution.
On July 29th, police executed search warrants a Bala Bala on Pennington Avenue in Hopewell Twp. Forty-six-year-old Feng Rong Chen, the manager, of Queens, NY, was charged with promoting prostitution. Dan Dan Lu, age 29, was charged with engaging in prostitution.
On July 30th, police executed search warrants at Asia Silk Spa on Parkway Avenue in Ewing. Zhang Zhanping, age 46, of Flushing, NY, was arrested and charged with promoting prostitution and engaging in prostitution.
