Residents evacuated after fire at assisted living facility

MOORESTOWN, N.J. (WPVI) -- Fire forced the evacuation of dozens of people from an assisted living facility in Burlington County, New Jersey on Monday morning.

It happened just before 3:30 a.m. at the Brandywine Living at Moorestown Estates at 1200 Church Street in Moorestown.

The fire started in the basement of one of the buildings, causing smoke conditions throughout the main building.

70 residents were evacuated from that building and taken to the other building at the facility.

There was no immediate word of any injuries.
