Shane Victorino visits family of 'Bucket List Baby'

DREXEL HILL, Pa. (WPVI) -- Former Phillies centerfielder Shane Victorino paid a special visit to a family mourning the loss of their newborn son.

Victorino met with Jenna and Dan Haley of Drexel Hill and presented them with a Phillies jersey for their baby, Shane.

A rare birth defect affected the baby's brain and little Shane died a short time after he was born last week.

The couple became well known after creating a pregnancy bucket list for Baby Shane and chronicling their journey on their Facebook page Prayers for Shane

The Haleys say Victorino's gift was incredibly thoughtful and heartwarming.

Victorino currently plays for the Boston Red Sox.
