Shooting victim found in backyard of Burlington City, N.J. residence

Police say a man was found shot and wounded in the backyard of a Burlington City, New Jersey residence late Friday night.

The 37-year-old victim, police believe was shot at a nearby field and staggered and collapsed in a backyard on the 200 block of Green Street.

Someone found him around 11:30 p.m. and called 911.

The unidentified man had been shot several times.

He was flown to Helene Fuld Medical Center in Trenton, New Jersey, where he is in critical condition.

So far, investigators don't know who shot him.
