Woman found dead in Old City park

OLD CITY (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police are investigating the death of a woman found dead in a park in Old City.

It happened around 3:30 Friday afternoon at Irish Park at Front and Chestnut streets.

Authorities believe the woman died from a drug overdose. Needles were found at the scene.

Her identity has not been determined.
