PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A landmark Philadelphia building now has a new owner and will be getting a multi-million dollar makeover.

The Bourse building has been bought.

MRP Realty has acquired the historic red-brick property between Chestnut and Market, east of Independence Mall along with three other Old City buildings.

The Bourse was built in 1895 and has nearly 230,000 square feet of office and retail space.

MRP wants to upgrade the amenities, renovate the facade and redo the garage, which includes the Ritz Theater.
