Atlantic County free shuttle

HAMMONTON, N.J. (WPVI) -- A new, free community shuttle started running Monday in Atlantic County, New Jersey.

The route 5440 shuttle serves Hammonton Rail Station, Richland, Collings Lakes and other rural areas of Atlantic County.

It gives residents an easier way to get to work, shopping, or government facilities.

The shuttle connects to the AC Rail Line and NJT routes 553 and 554.

It runs Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
