If you haven't yet tried thredUP, you're missing out on an easy way to make some money and clear out your closet.

If you're looking to do some spring cleaning in your closet and make some extra cash, we've got just the thing for you - and you don't even have to leave your house to do it!

Angela Robinson has figured out the easiest, perhaps most lucrative way to get rid of her old items by using the website thredUP.

If you haven't yet tried thredUP, you're missing out on an easy way to make some money and clear out your closet.

"You just put the clothes in the bag, they come already attached with the Fedex label to send it back. You don't pay anything - you just drop it off at any shipper," says Robinson.

To get the Clean Out Bag, just order it online from the thredUP website and they will send it to you for free.

"When the bag comes, you fill it up with clothes you want to send them to sell or clothes for consignment," says Robinson.

Next, you'll get an email to let you know your bag has been received and then another email letting you know whether thredUP is buying the clothes up front from you or putting them on consignment.

Robinson first tried thredUP with some of her son's old clothes.

She made $175 up front!

Some of her other items were put up for consignment where she could make up to 80% of the selling price.

"It's a very easy process, I like it very much. It's hassle free," she said.

The hard part is figuring out what to give away.

ThredUP pays you via PayPal and if it doesn't accept one or more of your items, you can have those items sent back to you for a $13 fee OR have thredUP recycle them for you at no cost.
