7,000 businesswomen are coming to Philadelphia to hear from Academy Award winner Diane Keaton, GMA's Robin Roberts and more.

It's called the Pennsylvania Conference for Women and it takes place on October 16th.

This week we're profiling some of the pros from our area who will also be inspiring the crowd.

Linda Cliatt-Wayman

She is the powerhouse new principal of Strawberry Mansion High School.

Two years ago, the school was one of the most dangerous in the city with abysmal test scores.

When officials couldn't find a new principal to turn things around, they asked Linda who had been an administrator and assistant principal at other schools, to try it.

Linda led the school to an incredible turnaround that's winning national attention.

Geri Swift

If you've ever wanted to be your own boss, you should meet with Geri Swift.

She started the Women's Business Development Center in Center City two decades ago. They help more than 2,000 women owned businesses a year.

"I think startup business owners have a tendency to want to be superwomen and to do everything and they need to understand they have to invest in advice, they need to be able to ask for help, and they don't know everything," Swift said.

Geri's company has helped women entrepreneurs generate $7 billion to the economy and employ some 28,000 people.
