LOS ANGELES -- The San Francisco Giants fan left severely disabled by a beating in the Dodger Stadium parking lot is in a Los Angeles courtroom as testimony is wrapping up in the trial of a negligence lawsuit against the team and former owner Frank McCourt.

Bryan Stow was brought to court in a wheelchair Wednesday morning as jurors listened to a security expert's recorded deposition.

The 45-year-old Stow only appeared at the trial once before, briefly attending a day of jury selection.

The defense is expected to rest its case soon.

Stow suffered severe brain damage in the attack by two Dodgers fans after the 2011 Opening Day game between the California rivals. The two assailants pleaded guilty to criminal charges.
