SOUTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- He's known for his work on the field, but on Monday one Eagles player traded his football helmet for a different kind of helmet.

Linebacker Connor Barwin suited up in his bicyclist gear and rode from Broad and Federal Streets in South Philadelphia to Lincoln Financial Field.

Barwin was riding to spread the word about Capital One's new partnership with the bike-share program run by Indego.

Indego already has 70 biking stations in the city of Philadelphia.

Barwin is known for supporting eco-friendly programs.
