The Texas Rangers on Friday lost David Rollins to the Philadelphia Phillies, as the left-hander joined his fourth team since the World Series.

The American League West champion Rangers had received Rollins from the Chicago Cubs on Nov. 22, four days after the champions had gotten the Texas-born pitcher on a waiver claim from the Seattle Mariners.

In 11 relief appearance for the Mariners last season, Rollins allowed eight runs over 9 1/3 innings.

The Rangers received right-hander pitcher Brady Dragmire on a waiver claim from the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Pittsburgh had acquired the Dragmire from the Toronto Blue Jays for cash considerations in October. He was 4-6 with a 4.38 ERA in 45 relief appearances for New Hampshire in the Eastern League, his first time at the Double-A level.
