GERMANTOWN (WPVI) -- A team from Philadelphia won the Super Bowl - no kidding - and it happened right in Disney World.

That's where the Northwest Raiders won the Division 1 Midget National Championship.

They defeated the New Britain Raiders out of Connecticut.

The championship game was Saturday during the 58th annual Pop Warner Super Bowl at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, Florida.

The Raiders capped off a fantastic season with a 26-6 victory.

The team returned to the Lonnie Young Recreation Center in Germatown on Sunday with trophy in hand.

"Our offensive line did real good, our backs showed up and like I said - a smart team - everything worked out," said Duane Watson.

Isheem Young scored four touchdowns.

For these 12-15 year olds, the championship is a culmination of months of hard work..

It's an accomplishment they'll cherish for the rest of their lives.

"It was a good experience. With the game on the line, I made a field goal in overtime and after that everyone went crazy," said Javar Ellis, player.

"We had an awesome time. It was a great experience for the kids. We brought the trophy to our community. It was a wonderful time, definitely a life memory," said Naeem Bonner, player.

"We deserved this and the kids deserve this. This is something positive and they should embrace it. We are part of the solution - Northwest Raiders," said Renee Tarpley, parent
