A car carrier fire slowed traffic Thursday morning on I-95 in Delaware County.

TINICUM TWP., Pa. (WPVI) -- A fire on a car carrier truck slowed traffic Thursday morning on I-95 in Tinicum Township, Delaware County.

Police tell Action News a vehicle on the truck burst into flames at 6:25 a.m. Thursday at the ramp from Route 420 to I-95 North.

Images from Chopper 6 HD on Action News at 6:30 a.m. showed fire coming from a sedan near the front of the carrier, which was parked on the right shoulder of the ramp.

No one was hurt.

Rush hour traffic was backed up on I-95 as firefighters worked to put out the fire and police directed traffic around the carrier.

There was no immediate word what sparked the blaze.
