It?s no surprise to drivers around the Philadelphia region, but a new study shows that two of the nation's worst bottlenecks are in our area.

It's no surprise to drivers around the Philadelphia region, but a new study shows that two of the nation's worst bottlenecks are in our area.

Coming in at #36: the 0.8 miles on the Schuylkill Expressway between City Avenue and the Roosevelt Boulevard.

Experts estimate that 700,000 hours a year are spent stuck in this spot.

At #47: The 0.3 stretch of the Vine Street Expressway between the Schuylkill and the North 24th Street exit.

300,000 hours a year are wasted in that very busy stretch.
