PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A steady rain develops Saturday for the start of Memorial Day weekend.

TODAY: Another cool day with lots of clouds and a few showers around, high 65.

SATURDAY: Raw, breezy and chilly with periods of rain, high 56. Watch for ponding on roads. For those at the shore, it's a wet and chilly day with up to 35mph gusts.

SUNDAY: The wettest period of the day will be during the morning with some rain. A few afternoon showers will be around. It's also a bit more humid, high 66.

MONDAY (MEMORIAL DAY): Humid with a few scattered showers around, high 72.

TUESDAY: More clouds than sun, but it's more seasonable, high 78.

WEDNESDAY: Nice and mild with clouds and sun, high 83.

THURSDAY: Partly sunny and nice, high 83.
