PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- The humidity returns early this week along with the chance for scattered downpours and storms through midweek.

MONDAY: Partly sunny and more humid, high 85. Widely scattered thunderstorms will be around later in the day.

TUESDAY: Very muggy with rounds of downpours and storms throughout the day, high 80. A few gusty storms can't be ruled out, but we also have an elevated risk for localized flash flooding.

WEDNESDAY: Staying muggy with a few pop-up storms around, high 82.

THURSDAY: A mix of sun and clouds, an isolated shower or storm can't be ruled out, high 83.

FRIDAY: Sunny and seasonable, high 86.

SATURDAY: A nice start to August with partly sunny skies, high 88.

SUNDAY: Watching for the chance of late day storms, high 87.
