1 dead, 1 wounded in shooting in Chester

CHESTER, Pa. (WPVI) -- Police in Delaware County are investigating what appears to be an attempted robbery that left one person dead.

Authorities were called to the intersection of 6th and Pusey Street just before 6 p.m. Friday.

When they arrived, they found two men suffering from gunshot wounds.

One man, who was dressed in dark clothing, a mask and gloves was dead from a gunshot wound.

The other had been shot in the leg.

He was taken to Chester Crozer Medical Center in good condition.

Police are still investigating.
