City of Burlington Police Department says they found the parents of 2 boys

BURLINGTON, New Jersey (WPVI) -- Police in the City of Burlington, New Jersey say they have located the parents of two young boys who were found early Tuesday morning.

Investigators released pictures of the children around 6:30 a.m., but not their names in an effort to help identify their guardians.



Police said the boys were found in the area of the 1100 block of Columbus Road.

Around 8:25 a.m., police gave an update they have located the parents and the boys are safe.

"The boys are safe and the parent/guardian has been located. The City of Burlington Police Department thanks every one of you for your shares and concern," police said.

No further details have been released.
