Police: Woman kidnapped, robbed, stripped naked in Camden

CAMDEN - November 15, 2012

Police say shortly after 6:00 a.m. Thursday, a 32-year-old woman was kidnapped and robbed by a male and female near the area of Broadway and Chestnut Street.

The suspects exited their vehicle, grabbed the victim and pushed her into the backseat of the car.

Authorities say the suspects drove the victim to a remote area of Sycamore Street where she was robbed and forced to remove her clothing.

The suspects then drove her to the Gulf gas station at Mt. Ephraim and Kaighn Avenue, where they entered the store and attempted to use the suspect's ATM card.

During this time, the victim managed to exit the suspects' vehicle and flee the area and phone police.

Authorities say the suspects approached the victim in what is described as a silver or gray, 4-Door, mid-1990's to early-2000's Hyundai or Honda with a New Jersey inspection sticker.

The driver was described as a black male, approximately 30 years old, 6', 180 pounds, some facial hair, unkempt hairstyle, wearing a blue leather jacket with red and white stripes on the shoulders, blue jeans and brown boots.

The passenger was described as a Hispanic or black female with light complexion, approximately 30 years old, 5'5, 120 pounds, afro-style hair, wearing hoop earrings, black leather jacket, blue jeans and black high-heeled boots.
