Police say 49-year-old Ernest Torrence was shot multiple times inside a home in the 4200 block of Parkside Avenue just after 10:00 p.m. Friday.
Torrence suffered gunshot wounds to his head and torso and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police have yet to comment on a possible motive for the shooting; they continue to search for a suspect.

A $20,000 reward is offered for the arrest and conviction of the suspect(s) in any homicide in the City of Philadelphia.
