Beam reportedly falls on person at Collegeville construction site

COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. (WPVI) -- A beam has reportedly fallen on a person at a construction site in Collegeville, Montgomery County.

The incident occurred around 11:45 a.m. Thursday on the 700 block of Campus Drive.

Chopper 6 was over the scene when emergency crews performed a high angle rescue, placing the victim on a stretcher, then down a ladder, and into an ambulance.

There is no word on the severity of the injuries to the victim.
