Man shot dead inside car in Chester

CHESTER, Pa. (WPVI) -- Police say a man was shot and killed while sitting in his car in Chester, Pennsylvania.

The shooting happened past midnight Wednesday at the intersection of 11th and Butler streets.

Officers responded to the scene after neighbors reported hearing numerous gunshots.

They discovered a man in his late 30s dead inside a white Oldsmobile.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

There were nine bullet holes in the driver's side window.

So far, police have no suspects or motive for the shooting.
