A 4-year-old child from Philadelphia drowned in a pool at a park in Bucks County.

HULMEVILLE, Pa. (WPVI) -- Authorities are investigating the drowning of a child at a private park in Hulmeville, Bucks County.

It happened at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Neshaminy Shore Picnic Park, located in the unit block of Beaver Road along the Neshaminy Creek.

4-year-old Nahyer Johnson of Locust Street in Philadelphia was attending a family gathering when he was found at the bottom of a pool on the property.

Responding paramedics rushed him to St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne where he later died.

The circumstances of the drowning remain unclear at this time.

According to its website, Neshaminy Shore Picnic Park caters to school and corporate groups, camps and family reunions.
