WEST CHESTER, Pa. (WPVI) -- Smoke billowed from an apartment building in Chester County early Friday.
Officials tell Action News the blaze broke out at 12:30 a.m. in the 200 block of West Chestnut Street in West Chester.
Firefighters arrived to find fire showing on the third floor.
There were initial reports of people being trapped inside. A ladder truck was used to help residents evacuate.
The blaze was put under control at 1:35 a.m.
No serious injuries were reported.
Fire investigators were working to determine what sparked the fire.
