There's a new kind of wine making a splash in southern France.

It's colored blue!

The specialty can be found at a Mediterranean resort where beachgoers and locals have already made their way through the first 2,000 bottle consignment of the blue chardonnay.

It's a Spanish-made wine that's filtered through purple grape pulp, which gives it that turquoise hue.
