N.J. chain creates gender reveal lasagna
Villa Italian Kitchen is now selling a tin of lasagna, which is stuffed with cheese that has been dyed either pink or blue.

NEW JERSEY (WPVI) -- We've all heard the children's song that goes, "first comes love, then comes marriage, then comes the baby in the baby carriage."

But for one Italian restaurant chain, the song is more like, "first comes pizza, then comes pasta."

Back in June we showed you Villa Italian Kitchen's take on wedding flowers.

The New Jersey based franchise was giving away custom bouquets and boutonnieres, made up of pepperoni pizza.

The next logical step after saying "Pie Do"? A lasagna dish that will reveal the gender of your baby.

Villa Italian Kitchen is now selling a tin of lasagna, which is stuffed with cheese that has been dyed either pink or blue.

If colorful cheese doesn't do it for you, well, the $140 catering package also features garlic rolls and salad.

The reaction has been mixed, with people calling it everything from unsettling to "delicious nonsense".
