Fire damages home in South Philadelphia

Officials say a fire broke out Thursday night at a home in South Philadelphia.

SOUTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A fire broke out at a home Thursday night in South Philadelphia.

Chopper 6 HD was over the 1300 block of South Capitol Street.

The fire broke out around 9 p.m. on the upper floor of a two-story, brick, semi-detached home.

Arriving crews informed fire radio the home was boarded up.

It took fire crews roughly 15 minutes to douse the flames, officials said.

So far, no reports of injuries or word on a cause.
