Man, 32, shot and killed in Kensington after argument, identified

KENSINGTON (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police have identified a man shot and killed Friday afternoon in Kensington.

Officers arrived to find 32-year-old Jason Marcial of North Leithgow Street suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest and hip.

That was at about 2:15 p.m. Friday in the 1400 block of North 4th Street.

Medics rushed Marcial to Hahnemann University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 2:54 p.m.

Investigators say before the shooting Marcial was arguing with two men in a dark-colored vehicle.

Those men then followed him to North 4th Street, opened fire and fled.

A $20,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of one or both suspects.
