KUTZTOWN, Pa. (WPVI) -- Police say a man has been charged in connection with the stabbing of a Kutztown University student.
Robert Centifanti, 18, of Philadelphia is facing several charges including first-degree attempted murder, aggravated assault, recklessly endangering another person and other offenses.
Police say Centifanti turned himself in on Friday.
Two other individuals seen in surveillance video have been questioned, but will not be charged at this time, police say.
Centifanti has been identified as the sole assailant in the incident, police say.
He is not a Kutztown University student, police say, but was in town visiting friends who attend the school at the time of the incident.
Police say the 22-year-old victim was stabbed at about 12:45 a.m. on Feb. 20, several blocks away from Kutztown University.
He remains hospitalized at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest in serious condition.
