Disney announced what audiences will see in the company's future at the 2026 Disney Upfront presentation in New York City on Tuesday.
Ahead of the event, there was a special opening for the New York Stock Exchange.
Disney CEO Josh D'Amaro rang the opening bell in celebration of the big Disney Upfront event, which will give you a preview of the new TV and streaming shows coming in the next year.

Disney+ is the exclusive home of the Banana Bowl this October
Rejoice, Savannah Bananas fans! Disney just announced an expanded collaboration with the team, making Disney+ in the U.S. the exclusive home of the Banana Bowl.
During the 2026 Disney Upfront, it was revealed that the Banana Bowl will stream on Disney+ this October and will feature the top teams in the Banana Ball league facing off for the season championship.
Known for blending athleticism with entertainment, the game will include one of the biggest performances the league has ever seen, bringing together all six teams, along with its signature on-field showmanship from first pitch to final out.

Hulu series 'The Land' announced at Disney Upfront
A new Hulu series was announced at the 2026 Disney Upfront: "The Land."
The drama is set in the world of the NFL, with Christopher Meloni playing a coach and William H. Macy and Mandy Moore as the owners of the team.
"The Land" will be released in 2027.

Super Bowl, MNF coming to ABC and ESPN in 2027
In 2027, four of the biggest events will be shown on ABC: the College Football Championships, the Grammy Awards, the Super Bowl and the Oscars.
Rita Ferro, President of Global Advertising for The Walt Disney Company, celebrated these big events after being introduced on stage by Paul Anthony Kelly, star of "Love Story: John F. Kennedy Jr. & Carolyn Bessette."
ESPN's Joe Buck and NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell took to the stage later to announce that the Chiefs will take on the Broncos in Week 1 of Monday Night Football and that the NFL will go global for Week 9, with the Bengals facing the Falcons in Spain.

Josh D'Amaro speaks at first Upfront as Disney CEO
While speaking at his first Upfront as Disney's CEO, Josh D'Amaro shared that his love of the company began as a kid in Massachusetts, well before he landed his first job with Disney.
And he's not alone in his experience as a young fan of the company.
"Our audiences are the ones who have been showing up as generations," he said. "Ours are the ones that are all in."
D'Amaro was introduced on stage by Anne Hathaway, star of the current box office hit "The Devil Wears Prada 2."
