A pedestrian was injured after being hit by a car near a Winslow Twp. school.

WINSLOW TWP., N.J. (WPVI) -- Police are investigating after a teenager was hit by a car near a school in Winslow Township, Camden County.

It happened around 2:30 p.m. in the 100 block of Sicklerville Road.

Investigators say the 17-year-old was hit while walking along the northbound side of the road near Winslow Twp Elementary School #3.

Police say the teen entered the northbound lane when he was hit.

The victim was flown to the hospital.

The driver will not be charged.
