WEST OAK LANE -- Police say a 26-year-old man was shot and killed in Philadelphia's West Oak Lane section late Monday night.
Officers found the victim lying on the street around 11:30 p.m. on the 6500 block of North 20th Street.
He had been shot in the hip and police rushed him to the hospital for treatment.
He later died from his injury.
Police found five shell casings near the scene, along with a semi-automatic weapon.
Witnesses told police they saw two men wearing masks and running on North Uber Street.
Police are checking surveillance cameras for information.
