NORTHEAST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police say a driver was hurt after crashing into a fence in Northeast Philadelphia early Wednesday morning.

The accident occurred just past 1:00 a.m. on the 4600 block of Castor Avenue near Adams Avenue.

A driver lost control and veered off the road before crashing into a fence and landing against the front porch of a house.

Police believe the driver passed out at the wheel.

The victim was checked out at the scene. So far, no word on their condition.

The crash is under investigation.
