Pedestrian struck, injured in New Castle, Delaware

NEW CASTLE, Delaware (WPVI) -- A pedestrian was injured after being hit by a car in New Castle, Delaware.

It happened around 10 p.m. Tuesday at Pigeon Point Road and Lambson Lane.

That pedestrian was taken to the hospital with head injuries.

Authorities say the striking driver stopped at the scene.

There was no word on any possible charges.
