DA: Man sold drugs to hospital patient who died. Brian Taff reports during Action News at 430pm on July 26, 2017.

EAST NORRITON, Pa. (WPVI) -- A man is behind bars, accused of selling drugs to a Montgomery County hospital patient, who then overdosed and died inside her hospital room.

Travis Siuta was arraigned on Wednesday for a drug delivery resulting in death.

Prosecutors say on five different occasions, surveillance video shows him arriving at Einstein Medical Center in East Norriton, where he allegedly sold heroin, pills, and fentanyl to 30-year-old patient Ciara Hadrick.

"She was found dead of an overdose in a bathroom floor of her hospital room by a nurse who heard water running in Ciara's room," said District Attorney Kevin Steele.

Investigators say Einstein Medical Center has cooperated throughout the entire investigation.

Authorities say Hadrick and Siuta arranged the drug sales through text messages.
