DAYTON, Ohio (WPVI) -- An Ohio couple is facing charges because their puppy ingested heroin, police say.
A vet in Dayton treated the pit-bull named Diesel with Naloxone.
It is the same medication used to block opiate effects in humans.
An investigation determined this is not the first time the puppy was exposed to heroin.
David Bendig and Melissa Myers, Diesel's owners, are charged with cruelty to animals.
