UNIVERSITY CITY (WPVI) -- Investigators are working to identify the body of a man pulled from the Schuylkill River in the University City section of Philadelphia.
The body, believed to be that of a man in his 50s, was found in the river before 11 a.m. Thursday near Walnut Street and Schuylkill Avenue.
Philadelphia police recovered the body.
Forensic investigators are now working to determine who the man was and how he died.
Action News is told the man may have suffered a gunshot wound to the head.
