PHILADELPHIA -- Philadelphia's meter up app will stop working as of midnight Wednesday.
In a statement released Tuesday, the Philadelphia Parking Authority says the company running the app is having financial trouble.
That company, Pango USA, apparently can't pay its contractors or credit card processor, the PPA said.
Drivers will have to pay for parking using cash, coins, or credit cards at the kiosks instead.
There's hope the city will find a new company to run the app, and have the service back up and running by the summer.
