1 dead following shooting in Norristown

NORRISTOWN, Pa. (WPVI) -- Police are investigating a deadly shooting incident in Norristown Wednesday.

It happened shortly after 9:30 p.m. near the intersection of Cherry and Airy streets.

Police said at least two people were shot and one person was found dead at the scene.

One person was taken to an area hospital for care. There is no word on their condition.

No arrests have been made.
