18-year-old in critical condition after fight outside a Wawa store in Montgomery County

LOWER MORELAND TWP., Pa. (WPVI) -- An 18-year-old man is in critical condition after a fight outside a Wawa store in Montgomery County on Thursday night.

Police were called to the store in the 2500 block of Philmont Avenue in Lower Moreland Twp. around 9:39 p.m. for a report of a large crowd fighting.

Multiple people fled the scene in vehicles before police arrived.

Once on the scene, officers found the victim on the ground. He was breathing but unresponsive, police say.

He was flown by helicopter to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

An investigation into this incident is underway.
