
SOUTHWEST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Three people, including a 70-year-old man, were injured in a fast-moving rowhome fire in Southwest Philadelphia.
It happened round 9:00 Friday night in the 2200 block of South 68th Street.
Firefighters reported heavy fire showing upon arrival. The flames quickly spread to two other homes.
Authorities say the 70-year-old victim and a woman in her 30's both jumped from the second floor to escape the blaze.
A third person was also injured.
All three victims were taken to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. No word on their conditions.
The 70-year-old man was burned and the woman hurt her leg.
No word exactly on what the third person is being treated for.
The flames were brought under control in about an hour.
The American Red Cross says it is offering shelter and clothing to 28 residents affected by the fire.
Fire officials are still trying to figure out the cause of the blaze.
