Conshohocken man identified as dump truck driver killed in Pennsylvania Turnpike crash

WHITPAIN TWP,, Pa. (WPVI) -- The driver of a dump truck who was killed on the Pennsylvania Turnpike in Montgomery County has been identified.

Police say 28-year-old Josh Adens, of Conshohocken, died after crashing into the back of a water truck.

The crash happened early Thursday morning in the northbound lanes of the Northeast Extension in Whitpain Township, just north of DeKalb Pike.

Chopper 6 was over a crash on the Northeast Extension, where you could see severe damage to the front of a dump truck.

Authorities say Adens veered into a work zone and hit the water truck.

He died at the scene.

Officials say the 61-year-old operating the water truck was not injured.
