Action News' Karen Rogers honored with 'Women in Leadership' award at NJ school

NEWFIELD, N.J. (WPVI) -- Action News' Karen Rogers received a special recognition in Newfield, Gloucester County.

Our Lady of Mercy Academy honored her with its first-ever "Women in Leadership" award.

The school is presenting the annual award to a local female leader who embodies the leadership qualities the school seeks to instill in its students.

Karen talked to the students about the importance of trying new things and believing in themselves.
