PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Allegiant is expanding its footprint in the skies.

The airline is adding eight new nonstop routes to Florida, including service from Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) to St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport (PIE), as well as between Trenton (TTN) and Orlando-Sanford International Airport (SFB).

Both routes begin on October 2.

There are promotional rates as low as $59 one-way if booked on May 19.

It comes after the company announced the launch of a new Atlantic City route to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, beginning Thursday.
