Arrest made after jogger grabbed in Newark, Del. park

NEWARK, Del. (WPVI) -- A man has been arrested on charges he grabbed a woman who was jogging in a Newark, Delaware park.

Carlos Morciego, 39, of Newark, was arrested Friday for the incident back on May 19th at Rittenhouse Park.

Police say the arrest came after a coworker contacted police, giving them information that linked Morciego to the incident.

He was taken into custody without incident, police say. He was charged with Offensive Touching.

According to investigators, the victim was jogging around 8 a.m. when Morciego grabbed her by the waist.

The jogger was able to break free, run home and call police. She was not hurt.
