
PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- The winners have crossed the finish line of the 47th annual Independence Blue Cross Broad Street Run.
The first runner to cross the finish line was Joshua Izewski with a time of 45:09, giving him a back-to-back victory.
Izewski set a course record with that time, with the previous record being 45:14.
He also set a personal record with that time, beating his previous time of 46:13.

The first female runner to cross the finish line was Tessa Barrett.
Barrett crossed the finish line at 52:27.
This was Barrett's first time running the race.
Around 40,000 runners hit the pavement Sunday morning to take part in the 10-mile race throughout the city.
The course ran from the Central High School Athletic Field in Philadelphia's Logan section to the Navy Yard.
