Suspect arrested after falling more than 20 feet in 6abc parking lot following brief police chase

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A brief police chase ended in the 6abc parking lot.

Officers detained a male outside the studio in Wynnefield Heights at 11:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Philadelphia police say he was trying to break into a car in the PCOM parking lot off Monument Road.

He ran across the station property and then fell more than 20 feet into the lower lot, while being pursued by police.

Doctors at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia are treating the male for broken bones.
