2 students disciplined after BB gun found in Bensalem middle school

BENSALEM, Pa. (WPVI) -- Two students are being disciplined after a BB gun was found on one of them at a school in Bensalem, Bucks County.

It happened Friday at Schafer Middle School.

The student was spotted with the gun in their waistband by another student who told school authorities.

Authorities notified Bensalem police who determined it was a BB gun.

They also allegedly found that another student played a part in bringing it into the building.

Both the student found carrying the bb gun and the one involved in bringing it into the school are being disciplined.

Police say the investigation is ongoing.
